The current WP&P Chinese Edition was received with huge enthusiasm by the 7,500 individual recipients in China at the end of last year FOREWORD Once again I must extend my sincere thanks to the authors who have generously shared their wide-ranging knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our readership across the world in this year’s edition. There is no doubt that the awareness of what our publication brings to the industry is increasing year on year, and we look forward to this trend continuing. We have a very busy and eagerly anticipated year ahead. We will of course be exhibiting at the PulPaper Expo and Conference in Helsinki at the end of May, arguably the leading international forum for the forest based industries; in addition to showcasing the 2018 edition of World Pulp & Paper, we will be promoting the latest edition of our sister publication, World Biomass. We will also be at the Zellcheming Conference & Expo in Wiesbaden in June; visits to MIAC in Lucca, Italy in October and the Paperex exhibition in Chennai, India in November are also scheduled. The current WP&P Chinese Edition was received with huge enthusiasm by the 7,500 individual recipients in China at the end of last year; it has been encouraging to have received a huge number of enquiries from mill personnel in this part of the world, wishing to ensure their receipt of the 2018/19 edition. The unique, individually addressed, circulations of both publications continue to be provided by Fisher International, the world’s leading information services provider for the forestry, pulp and paper sectors. Allow me to wish all of you a successful year ahead, and I look forward to meeting up with many of you during the year.
